This year, we’re bringing back the vendor market!
Hundreds of locals & visitors join us for The Summer Oldstice Street Festival
Summer Oldstice is the ultimate celebration of summer in Uptowne Olds! Taking place on June 15,2024, this event attracts hundreds of people each year.
We block off part of the main drag for The Mountain View Pistons’ Show N Shine, and hundreds of people come to see the cars.
100% Fun!
Uptowne Olds hosts a pancake breakfast in the morning and the Kiwanis Club takes over and has a BBQ in the afternoon.
Uptowne Olds members decorate their storefronts, offer sidewalk sales, and organize fun activities for the kids.
And this year, we’re bringing back the vendor market!

Our Market
Vendor market details:
- Date – June 15, 2024
- Location: TBC
- Time: 8 am – 4 pm
- Fee is $75/booth
- Vendor must supply proof of $2 million in liability insurance
- Booth fee payment and insurance documents must be in place to secure booth
- Each booth is 10×10
- Vendor must supply tent, table, & chairs
- Power is not available
- Vehicle access for unloading; vehicles must be parked off site for the duration of the market
- Once your application has been approved you will receive an invoice with payment instructions
- Payment due by May 31, 2024
- Your booth IS NOT confirmed until we receive your payment in full
- The fee is non-refundable after May 31st
Requirements, Acknowledgements, & Agreements
- All Vendors must submit a completed application and be approved by Uptowne Olds.
- The Market will go on rain or shine. Refunds will NOT be given. We strongly suggest that vendors prepare for inclement weather.
- Portable canopies and tents must be weighted down and anchored securely for safety (Vendor must provide their own tent with adequate weight for each tent leg). No nails or stakes may be driven into the ground.
- Vendor must provide their own tables & chairs
- Sale of any item prohibited by any city, town, county, provincial or federal law is prohibited.
- Sale of the following is prohibited: tobacco, fireworks, guns, drug related products, live animals, or used mattresses and bedding or otherwise flammable or dangerous items. The sale of counterfeit merchandise, or merchandise which violates trademarks and copyrights of others is prohibited.
- Uptowne Olds reserves the right to determine whether any particular item is dangerous.
- Summer Oldstice is a “family market” therefore absolutely no pornographic or “X” rated material such as films, magazines, DVDs, etc. are allowed to be sold.
- No political material may be distributed.
- Please leave your dogs at home.
- Participants in the market shall be appropriately dressed (e.g. shirts and shoes) and conduct themselves in an acceptable and orderly manner.
- No person shall deface or otherwise abuse the downtown buildings or plants.
- YOUR SELLING AREA MUST BE KEPT CLEAN. Please respect this open space. You are responsible for taking your unsold merchandise. Any violators will be charged $50.00 for excessive clean up expenses. YOU MUST TAKE YOUR GARBAGE WITH YOU BEFORE YOU LEAVE.
- No selling outside of vendors rented space is allowed. All aisles must be kept clear of vehicles and merchandise.
- The Town of Olds and Uptowne Olds are not responsible for theft or damages to property belonging to persons participating in the Market. The Summer Oldstice Street Festival assumes no responsibility for items left unattended during or at the conclusion of such activities.
- All government regulatory agencies rules must be followed. Any vendor selling food must comply with all AHS guidelines.
- Law Enforcement will enforce all local ordinances, laws, and regulations.
- Uptowne Olds can cancel the market due to impact on public safety.
- Any vendor, club, group, or persons participating in the festival must comply with all of the rules. Uptowne Olds reserves the right to refuse participation to any participant based on these rules.
